Cops seek public's help   0 comments below

Surveillance photo
Suffolk County Police announced Tuesday that they are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect who clipped a woman's pocketbook from a laundromat in Coram last fall.

Investigators from the Sixth Precinct in Selden released surveillance photos of an unknown man at DJM Laundromat on Glenmere Lane who was allegedly spotted doing laundry prior to removing a female employee's pocketbook from the business' work office on Nov. 1. Investigators say the suspect was last seen in a tan sport utility vehicle with black tinted windows. A female and male juvenile were with him at the time, according to investigators.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hot line, at 1-800-220-TIPS. Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
