William R. Schneider of Middle Island died Jan. 15 at the age of 78.
He is survived by his brother, Edward.
Funeral services were handled by Moloney's Lake Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma, and private cremation was entrusted to Nassau-Suffolk Crematory in Lake Ronkonkoma. Interment of cremains was at Calverton National Cemetery.
