Roger A. Morneault of Miller Place died Feb. 1. He was 79.

He was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Lowell, Mass., to Arthur and Irma (Sinclair) Morneault. Raised in Lowell, he graduated from high school there in 1949 and married Lorraine Morneau there on Oct. 21, 1956.

Mr. Morneault worked for Trans World Airlines as a lead system tech at John F. Kennedy International Airport for 38 years.

He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Rocky Point and a member of the Miller Place Senior Club. According to his family, he enjoyed doing Bob Ross paintings, building things and fixing things. "He could fix anything," they said.

Predeceased by his wife, Mr. Morneault is survived by his children, Renee Munzer and Stephen; his siblings, Simone Cote, Connie Grove and Phillip; and two grandchildren.

The family received visitors Feb. 4 at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Miller Place. Funeral services will be held today, Friday, Feb. 5, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church. Cremation will be private.

Memorial donations may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 245 Old Country Road, Melville, NY 11747.
