Tom Cruise hits the North Fork   3 comments below

The actor who made a name for himself in the classic '80s movie "Risky Business" was spotted getting some exercise on Wednesday, running hard on Route 25 through Orient and East Marion. Mr. Cruise, 47, took some time off from filming his upcoming espionage thriller "Knight and Day" to visit his wife, Katie Holmes, on the set of "The Romantics," which is being filmed at locations on the North Fork throughout the month.

This is an absolute disgrace. This film is bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars to this community. The hotels are full the restaurants and bars are doing a booming business and instead of imbracing this economic boom and welcoming our vistors you and your employees are stalking our visitors. Why would the film company want to come back and the stars agree to come back if they are stalked and not allowed to have any privact in their lives. Isn't this the behavior that drove away Billy Joel and Christy Brinkley....Good Job yet again...you should be proud of yourselves. I didn't realize that you were competing with the Weekly World News.
