Former East Marion resident June Gabriel Szaryko died Jan. 30 at Cedar Lodge Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Center Moriches. She was 81.
She was born June 8, 1928, in Bellerose, N.Y., to Frederick and Helen Gabriel.
On April 7, 1956, she married Richard Szaryko. He predeceased her in 1985.
She is survived by several close friends.
Private arrangements are under the care of Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
