He was a veteran of World War II, the Pacific theater, and was honorably discharged. He was married for 65 years to his wife, Constance, who predeceased him in 2007.
He was a successful salesman in his working career, a longtime resident of Southold, a member of North Fork Country Club and a loving father to his son, Stephen, and grandson, Timothy.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Serena; his sister, Josephine, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Another of America's greatest generation takes a seat at the table. He will be dearly missed.
