More than a month has passed since the state wrestling tournament in Albany, but the accolades continue to pile on for Shoreham-Wading River senior Steven Keith.

The undefeated 119-pound state champion, Keith received the Lou Giani Champion of Champions Award as Section XI's top wrestler at Wednesday's All-County dinner at Villa Lombardi's. Keith was one of five state champions from Suffolk County. The award is voted on by the coaches.

Keith, who will wrestle at Harvard next year, also received the top scholarship award.

Keith finished his career with 186 wins. He was a two-time state champion, three-time county champion and four-time league champion. He leaves Shoreham second all-time in career wins behind only Jesse Jantzen (221).

Rocky Point junior Stephen Dutton and Longwood senior Ernest James were also honored for their state titles. Dutton won the 135-pound class and James won the 215-pound class. James will wrestle at Edinboro University.

Section XI posted the top finish at the New York State Championship this season.
