Police seek help finding motel robbers 1 comments below

An employee of the West Main Street motel was awakened by a man asking to rent a room on Jan. 14 at about 5 a.m, police said. The employee opened the motel's office just as the man pulled a knife on him and demanded money. Two other men then entered the office, which they ransacked along with one of the motel rooms, and took off with $275, according to police. The three men were last seen walking west on Main Street, police said.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the men, who they said were black, wearing masks, approximately 5-feet-11 inches tall and weighed 180 to 200 pounds.
The man with the knife was wearing a gold, tan or orange colored coat with a hood. The other men were wearing black coats with hoods, according to police.
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-200-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
